The Shape
A tapered directional shape, signature Layback Camber profile, early rising nose & tail profiles combine to keep you afloat in the deepest powder, laying down long laid out turns or tight lines through the trees.
The progressive sidecut, Japanese wood-core & carbon stringers give the board a perfectly balanced flex - powerful enough to hold the fastest, steepest line but not too stiff to feel & flow through low down carves on a perfect groomer.

The 2025 Volume One look captures the magic of night riding in Japan through an exploration of slow shutter speed and colour gradients in the snow. This image was taken on a night of heavy snowfall, with directed lights illuminating the flakes, creating that quintessential Japanese night riding atmosphere. Each size presents a unique crop of the image, alongside its own individual graphic elements.
