Our Japanese and European team riders had a big hand in designing this one. Inspired by their input, ideas and a need to scratch their freestyle itch, the Supernaut was born.see dimensions
Built to provide extra pop through the nose and tail, this board is also right at home lapping park or launching backcountry features.
We gave it a slight taper combined with a multi-directional nose and tail profile. A bit of extra width compared to a traditional twin for that all-important float in powder, and stability landing regular or switch. Like its namesake’s killer riff, this could be your all-time favourite!
Supernaut being his favourite Sabbath song, it was a no brainer to ask the mighty Schoph to put his mark on it! A true shredder to his core and part of our extended European family, Schoph is a legend in the game. Regularly producing work with Vans, Volcom and other snowboard brands as well as his own brand 1910 in collaboration with Jamie Lynn.
He works in a number of styles with abstract canvases shown at galleries across Europe, multi coloured, darkly themed, multi layered resin pieces and striking black line images.
He put the track on repeat at his Yorkshire studio, channeled it’s mighty riff and came up with a signature image and bespoke typeface for us, which sits between a classic Island ‘dipped’ nose and tail in Sabbaths Signature & Vol. 4 album colourways on a matte finish top sheet.
